Internal referrals

Internal referrals offer a reliable and timely way to track the pathway of clients within the organisation, whether from a centralised intake point, or between and across programs. The feature includes the capacity to:

  • Make referrals to activity types and internal program, from an existing case
  • Authorise particular teams to manage the referrals, as they come in
  • Seek more information from the source of the referral, while it is considered
  • Manage the status of the referral as it progresses, for example, acceptance, non-acceptance, or waitlist

Users on teams managing incoming referrals have access to a screen listing all current referrals and their current status. The history of the management of the referral is maintained over time.
